Welcome to our new website.

As brand representatives, SVM have now made our products available through a single portal.

Your order is processed through an online system which allocates it to the nearest retailer to you who has joined our order forwarding scheme.

Over the last 28 years we have specialised in Celtic, African and Brazilian musical instruments and we have now added new drum, cymbal and percussion lines. This is an exciting development for us all, and we are continuing to visit the factories in China and the producers in Brazil and Africa, which keeps us in touch with any changes and additions to our manufacturers’ ranges, and helps maintain quality control.

We are delighted to introduce the Techtonic Electronic drum kits, Techtonic Unplugged Acoustic drum kits and hardware, Vic Firth and the brilliant Dream Cymbals to our distributed lines. We have developed a range of Latin percussion under the SVM Percussion brand, working with Remo to produce Rhythm Carnival percussion and we are distributing Hammerax effects percussion and cymbals in the UK.

We are in touch with makers, musicians, teachers, workshop specialists, African and Samba drumming groups, organising bodies and educational distributors in Britain, Ireland and around the world. We gather traditional instruments from Ivory Coast, Ghana, Brazil, Ireland, USA, Indonesia, India and Pakistan. We work closely with our manufacturers to provide quality musical instruments representing the spirit of the cultures from which they come.

We have a specialist team, who work together with the aim of providing an informed, efficient service to our customers. All of the marketing team is currently involved in music making at various levels and we all have a passion for World Music.
